A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph Brandi and Josh’s wedding at the Powers Mansion in Auburn. Despite the heavy rain, cold temps and gusty wind, I had a great time working with them! Brandi and Josh have such infections personalities that it’s hard not to have a good time when you’re around them. I wish them the best of luck as they embark on their married life!

Auburn California Newborn Photographer

The last couple of weeks have been extremely busy! Filled with client meetings, engagement sessions and the birth of my son Evan! We’re all excited about the latest addition to the Sheriff family, although a little more sleep would be nice !!! Yesterday we decided to take a few shots of Evan wearing the hats that my wife Stephanie made for his birth. It’s crazy how much you can move a newborn when they’re asleep and not wake them!

Grass Valley Photographer ~ Commercial Work

Yesterday morning I got a call from PG&E asking if I could fly around the Grass Valley/Nevada City area and take pictures of the damage caused by the recent snow storm…I jumped at the opportunity and had such a great time. It’s going to be pretty hard to wipe the smile off my face!

Auburn California Engagement ~ Brandi & Josh

I had a ton of fun getting to know Brandi and Josh during their engagement photo session last weekend! Brandi and Josh met, and eventually got engaged at a Starbucks down in Rocklin. I thought it would be fun to tie the love and Starbucks connection into their engagement photos. I am really looking forward to their wedding next month at the Power’s Mansion in Auburn California.

Bar Mitzvah, Congregation B’nai Israel Sacramento California

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph my first Bar Mitzvah down in Sacramento. I really enjoyed this challenge and getting to learn more about this important time in a young Jewish persons life!
