The last couple of weeks have been extremely busy! Filled with client meetings, engagement sessions and the birth of my son Evan! We’re all excited about the latest addition to the Sheriff family, although a little more sleep would be nice !!! Yesterday we decided to take a few shots of Evan wearing the hats that my wife Stephanie made for his birth. It’s crazy how much you can move a newborn when they’re asleep and not wake them!

Baby Lucas

Baby Lucas was a great little subject. He was about 8 weeks old when these pictures were taken. Lucas came up to Auburn from Roseville to get his baby portraits taken. He was a happy little guy the whole time. For newborn portraits I generally bring a studio to the babies house and am able to capture all the images there. Parents really like this because they don't have to deal with public places.
