Empire Mine Wedding Photographer ~ Blane and Melissa Wedding

Last June I had the pleasure of photographing Blane and Melissa’s wedding at two of my favorite venues. The ceremony was held at Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley and the reception was at Miners Foundry in Nevada City. I think the two venues really compliment each other well. They are both rustic yet amazingly eye pleasing. They were such a sweet couple to work with and their wedding party was a blast as well. Thank you so much for letting me photograph your special day, I feel very honored.

South Lake Tahoe Engagement Photographer

I am posting events a little out of order, but I think this engagement session deserves to be posted right now because of the light snow that is seen in every picture. I met up with Andrew and Tiffany in South Lake Tahoe about a month ago to take their engagement photos. We went to a few different locations, braving the 30 degree weather, wind and snow. They were so much fun to work with and didn’t even complain once even tough they couldn’t feel their toes and hands. I know it took me an hour and a half to feel mine again. We took a short intermission in the middle of the session to warm up at a local bar near Camp Richardson. It was an an excellent opportunity to get to know Tiffany and Andrew better. I can’t wait until their wedding next summer in South Lake Tahoe at Shoreside.
