Details, details, details…Marcella and Jaime’s wedding was full of wonderful details. From Marcella’s beautiful dress to the caramel apples on the tables, everything seemed to fit together perfectly for this fall wedding. I have had the opportunity to photograph several weddings at the Ridge in Auburn and it’s cool to see how each bride has been able to personalize the venue to fit their own style. Maryanne & JJ Engagement Session ~ Grass Valley Wedding Photographer

I have know Maryanne since I was a little boy…our family go way back having spent the last 20+ Christmas Eve’s together. When I found out that Maryanne and her Fiancée JJ were going to be in Yosemite Valley the same weekend as me, I offered to take a few engagement pictures for them. We met just after sunrise in the El Capitan Meadow. The light was shining through the valley and illuminating the fall colored foliage. Yosemite is such an amazing place to photograph. I can’t wait to go back! Congratulation on the engagement Maryanne and JJ!

Auburn California Photographer ~ Young Lakes, Yosemite

Whenever I am not photographing a wedding I’m exploring. California is such a beautiful place to live with so much diversity, both in its citizens and its topography. From where I live in Auburn, I can be at the coast in less than two hours, wine country in about an hour and Tahoe in less than an hour. A couple of weeks ago I was able to venture a little further down the state with my friend Thomas. We headed to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park for a three day backpacking adventure. The pictures were all taken from the Young Lakes area of Yosemite National Park. If anyone is interested in seeing some amazing sights then you need get in contact with Thomas! He knows Tuolumne County and the Eastern Sierras like the back of his hand. Enjoy!

I love what I do because of the people I work with. Cody and Leslie were no exception! They were married at Leslie parents estate in Auburn, CA. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful.
