Erik and Erica~ Long Beach Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing Erik and Erica at Hotel Maya located right on the Long Beach Harbor looking back at downtown Long Beach. The venue was beautiful, the views were breathtaking. Erica looked amazing in her wedding dress and Eric wasn't too shabby either. The couple was great to work with.

Ryan+ Gabby ~ Wedding San Luis Obispo

Ryan and Gabby were married at the Dallidet Garden in San Luis Obispo. They were so much fun to work with. The wedding was classy yet fun. Some people are just natural in front of the camera and Gabby is one of those people. I loved photographing her. I wish the couple the best of luck.

April + Lance Auburn, CA Engagement Photographers

Lance and April are getting married later this summer up in Coloma (I can't wait). Coloma is such a beautiful area that we decided it would be fun to do their engagement photos there too. After about 45 minutes of shooting a State Park Ranger approached us and asked if I had a permit to photograph in a State Park. What??? I need a permit to photograph in a State Park? After the photo session, I went home and looked up this new law (because the ranger couldn't give me more info on the spot) and apparently there was a law passed in January that says if you have professional looking equipment then you need a permit to photograph on state land. What is happening to our state? We pay taxes, we pay park entry fees, now we have to pay for permits to photograph! What’s next? Other than that the day went perfectly and we managed to get some really amazing shots!

Jamie + Jarrod Wedding Nevada City Photography

I flew out the Indiana to photograph my cousin Jamie's wedding. It was a great wedding, complete with lots of family, dancing, ice sculptures and a horse drawn carriage. I could have done without the rain, but we were still able to get outside and take some pictures. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people, I love my family and I love my job. Congrats to Jamie and Jarrod. I wish you both many years of happiness.
