I met the Zylker family in Meadow Vista just after Thanksgiving to capture some photos of their beautiful family. I wanted to take advantage of the last remaining fall colors in the area before a large storm blew through the following day and dropped all the leaves. It was such a joy working with the Zylker family, the boys have grown so much since last time I photographed them. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I met the Edwards family on a coooold November morning at McKinley Park in Sacramento. Early last summer I had the opportunity to work with their family and capture some one year photos their daughter. It’s funny because the last time we were together it was one of the hottest days of the summer. Their daughter was such a trooper this summer in the blazing 100 degree heat and she continued to amaze me on this chilly 40 degree morning! I had such a blast working with the Edwards family again! I can’t wait to work with them in the future…it’s always fun to see how a family changes and grows over the years!

What a beautiful family! Just before Thanksgiving I had the opportunity to take some pictures of my sister and her family. With the fall colors this time of year hit or miss, we decided to head up to Nevada City and incorporate some of the old metal structures into the pictures. After we got some good ones in the downtown area we decided to try our luck at a local park. Fortunately there were a few trees that still had vibrant fall colors. It’s been a lot fun watching my sisters family grow…her kids are almost exactly the same age as my kids. Whenever we get together the kids have a lot of fun. I hope everyone is having a great start to the Christmas season! Enjoy the pictures!
